Bids called for £35m Bath Uni management school

The University of Bath has called up contractors to bid for a landmark school of management building at its Claverton Down campus.

The 170,000 sq ft building will be located on greenbelt near the main entrance to the University and Convocation Avenue.

The new management school will range between 2-6 storeys with the two main wings built as concrete frame structures separated by a two-storey green roofed pavillion.

The building will be able to accommodate up to 3,000 management school students and around 220 academic staff.

It will feature classrooms, common rooms, learning spaces, a café and possibly a lecture theatre and trading room. It will also include a porters lodge, office, store room and mess area.

Interested contractors need to complete PQQs by 4 Jumes and can obtain more information from the Delta e-Sourcing portal.
