We get shut down daily by the owners because the trucks are tracking out mud. The trucks run a quarter mile on a crusher run (base stone) access road and #2'S entrance before hitting the asphalt highway, but it's wet, sticky red clay and just HANGS on until a quarter mile down the highway. We sweep the asphalt, wash it when it's not below freezing. The trucks run 20 mph before hitting the highway (max speed owner will allow) to kick off the mud. We installed a rumble strip (cattle grate) for them to run over.
Anyone have other ideas? We can't keep getting shut down. 15 days behind at this point.
